Social Literacy Book F3
What is the structure and function of ordinary, everyday objects? How is it that social group structures are not so easy to see? How do individuals participate in human groups? This book examines these questions, extending concepts introduced in previous units and contributing towards the overall theme emerging through this series of units: the meaning and purpose of human culture.
The Social Literacy Project has developed this unit as part of an interdisciplinary social science course for primary and secondary schools. The goal of social literacy is for students to develop a framework of social concepts as tools for social understanding and active, confident social participation.
